Really couldn't resist a bit of a gender reveal!

After everything that's been going on the last few months it's suddenly so nice and a little strange to have things to celebrate again, especially when it comes to this pregnancy. We are now more than half way through what has so far been a pretty stressful pregnancy and suddenly it feels like its flying by.


We wanted to really embrace and make the most of these next 20 weeks and that includes a little gender reveal. We found out the sex last Tuesday at our anomaly scan and it’s been pretty hard keeping it quiet up until now.

We told our parents and sisters in person which was really special being able to watch their initial reactions. We had the idea to say it with sweets but let me tell you, that's no way near a simple as it should be, especially when you’re having a little baby boy!!!  Turns out most blue sweets are banned now due to all those e-numbers!

So yeah we are having a healthy baby boy! I cant believe I'm going to have a son, it’s so crazy! I know finding out isn't for everyone and I really do understand that but for me it has really helped me start to bond with baby and having a better idea of what our future is going to look like has helped me get so so excited!
