BCG Week Four

I hesitated about writing this post on week four of BCG because I don’t know if I have anything new to say and I’m a little concerned I’m starting to sound like a broken record...if I’m starting to get sick of myself rabbiting on then I can’t imagine how you guys might feel.

If I’m honest I’m quite relieved I don’t have any new symptoms to report. Tuesdays are pretty grim, the headaches are back in full force so definitely going to class these as a side effect, I get some aching in my left kidney, but that’s not actually a new thing for me so maybe not a side effect, just a coincidence. And the tiredness is possibly getting a bit worse but nothing a little lie down can’t fix!

...if anything I'm starting to get a little un-easy that’s it’s all quite easy so far. Probably proof that this whole cancer thing is as much of a mental battle as it is a physical one! Last time I had my six week course of chemo (back in January) I sailed through the six weeks pretty unscathed only to get an infection and inflammation about a week or so later. That was pretty horrendous...hoping very much that that’s not the case this year, because Christmas!

Currently drowning myself in a much water as one person can physically drink and staying away from the wine...which is so much harder that I should perhaps admit, especially at this time of year!

Thanks for sticking with me this far :)
