BCG Week Five

Well it’s a been a week: Somewhere between keeping up with Christmas orders for my business and getting overly emotional about the election, by Thursday night I well and truly crashed. Thank god we got the telly sorted in our bedroom just in time! 

BCG Week Four

I hesitated about writing this post on week four of BCG because I don’t know if I have anything new to say and I’m a little concerned I’m starting to sound like a broken record...if I’m starting to get sick of myself rabbiting on then I can’t imagine how you guys might feel.

BCG Week Three

This blog was supposed to be published yesterday but I fell asleep and by the time I woke up Oscar was home so I decided to put it on hold until this morning.

BCG Week Three...or maybe not!

Okay so today was supposed to be my round up of BCG week 3, but considering that did not go ahead as planned this morning it might be a little tricky!

BCG Week Two:

After a little bit of a stressful week last week this Tuesday and BCG treatment number two seemed to roll around a little bit quicker than I would have liked. 

BCG Week One:

When I first found out that the next course of treatment I would be having was BCG I began to do my research pretty much straight away. I knew from conversations with all my doctors that there could potential be a lot more side effects with BCG than there had been with the Mitomicyn and I wanted to be prepared (Knowledge is Power)

A baby and bladder cancer: An honest account of our first year

It's been one whole year since Oscar joined the party after what was a rather exhausting, but empowering 12 hours of labour. I get asked a lot how I'm coping with life as a new mum having cancer treatment so I thought now was an ideal time to do a little round up of our first year.

Overwhelmed

I have talked a lot about my reasons for starting this blog and how much I have found it has helped me over the last two years to really get my head in the right place for dealing with everything that is going on.

Back to school nerves

It's been back to school nerves for loads of kids over the last couple of weeks and for the first time in a long time I can relate.
